What is a Therm? What is a Thermal Factor?

A therm is a unit for measuring natural gas consumption and is used to calculate your gas charges. Atlanta Gas Light measures your consumption in CCFs, or hundreds of cubic feet of gas volume.  The Thermal Factor is used to convert CCFs to therms. Both therms and CCFs used appear on Gas South bills.
